Events in Cuneo and the Alps

The southwestern corner, from the plain at Cuneo up to the Maritime Alps and the French border. Two seasons that barely overlap: winter in the ski valleys of Limone and the Varaita, and a short intense mountain summer of sagre, alpine cheese fairs and long walks. Cuneo itself holds one of the largest markets in the region under its arcades. Come here for chestnuts in October and for Castelmagno at any time of year.
