Frammenti di Durata. Ludovica Carbotta e Jacopo Benassi per PalazzoIrreale
20 September 2026 — 25 October 2026 · Canelli

Location: PalazzoIrreale. Address: PalazzoIrreale, Via Luigi Bosca 2, 14053 Canelli, AT “Frammenti di Durata” is the title of the exhibition project by contemporary artists Ludovica Carbotta and Jacopo Benassi, curated by Maria Chiara Valacchi, for the PalazzoIrreale festival The PalazzoIrreale initiative is desired by the Bosca Family, owners of the sparkling wine house founded in Canelli in 1831. PalazzoIrreale aims to enhance the cultural heritage of Monferrato and of Canelli in particular, with its landscape and its vast underground cellars, a UNESCO heritage site, through interventions by renowned contemporary artists. The centrepiece of the new exhibition is “Die Telamonen”, three site-specific sculptures by Ludovica Carbotta that interact with the spaces of Villa Bosca, evoking the Telamons as vital and relational presences. Among these, “Fausto Telamon” is integrated into the historic pergola, becoming support for a real vine, integrating time and natural growth into the work. In parallel, Jacopo Benassi presents the performance “Rivoluzione (musica analfabeta)”, a soundscape in continuous regeneration created with Michele Lombardelli: in this work sound, body and photography intertwine
