Venue: Teatro Civico Garybaldi. Address: Via Partigiani, 4 10036 Settimo Torinese TO, Italy View on Map. End: 22:15 Taken from Irène Némirovsky’s novel of the same name, Il ballo is a musical reading that stages a story of family rivalry, ambition and desire for redemption. Laura Morante plays Rosine Kampf, a mother obsessed with social advancement, while Eugenia Costantini plays the part of her daughter Antoinette, a teenager wounded by humiliation and eager for redemption. Mother and daughter in real life too, the two actresses give voice to an intense confrontation that lays bare the fragilities and conflicts of the relationship between the two characters. The Kamps, who have recently become a wealthy family, organize a sumptuous reception with the aim of obtaining recognition from high Parisian society. Antoinette, excluded from the party at her mother’s request, turns her pain into a silent revenge: instead of sending the invitations to the guests, she throws them into the Seine. On the evening of the ball, no one shows up. With an essential and cutting writing style, Némirovsky builds an ironic and merciless portrait of the French bourgeoisie, telling a family drama in

Montiglio Monferrato Walking Tour
CuneoVualà
The 14th edition of CuneoVualà, the festival dedicated to the carnet de voyage, conceived and curated by Ivana Mulatero, arrives in Cuneo, and this year proposes the theme “The factory in your pocket” and is part of the International Network of Michelin Cities 2026. The festival offers a dual exhibition: a group show, with the participation of professional, amateur and student artists, and a solo exhibition, dedicated this year to Salvatore Santuccio. The exhibitions will take place at the Peano Foundation, in Corso Francia 47, in Cuneo. Free admission
Limes 2. Attraversare i linguaggi
Location: Fondazione 107. Address: Via Sansovino 234 The exhibition project of Fondazione 107 in Torino continues with the exhibition curated by Federico Piccari, shifting the central reflection to the threshold of language. As many as twenty-five artists explore the relationship between different languages through painting, sculpture and installation techniques, concretely challenging the traditional dichotomy between abstract and figurative. The work of art thus becomes a dynamic space of passage in which image, sign, matter and emotion are continuously transformed. The exhibition path takes an in-depth look at the Informal season of the late fifties, a period in which gesture and matter became fundamental tools for expressing a profound emotional dimension. The reflection extends to the comparison between different cultures and visual systems, placing contemporary research in dialogue with historical artefacts such as the Iranian Tabriz carpet, the Adouma mask from Gabon and the Kuba textiles from Congo. In addition, the intertwining of visual arts and poetry is renewed: the artists have personally selected poets and texts to accompany their works, c

La fabbrica in tasca: CuneoVualà racconta il lavoro attraverso il disegno
Venue: Peano Foundation. Address: Peano Foundation, 15,30-18,30 (Thu-Sun) In the 120th anniversary of the Michelin plant, the 14th edition of the carnet de voyage festival conceived and curated by Ivana Mulatero The 2026 edition of CuneoVualà celebrates an iconic anniversary for the area: the one hundred and twentieth of the Michelin plant in Cuneo. Under the title "The Factory in Your Pocket", the festival invited carnet artists to engage with industrial aesthetics, transforming the factory from a closed place into a field of artistic exploration. The carnet artist has become an "eyewitness" to production in the factory, chasing everyday life with the tip of a pencil in front of the "thing seen". The aim was to capture the "spark of imagination" arising from the encounter between the draughtsman-artist and the world of work, documenting architecture, gestures and innovation. The art of the slow mark, to put succinctly the practice of the carnet, meets in this edition of CuneoVualà industrial innovation for the International Network of Michelin Cities, hosted in Cuneo from October 5 to 8, 2026. After a decade of journeys
CuneoVualà 2026: quando l'arte del disegno entra in fabbrica
Address: Corso Francia, 47, 12100 Cuneo CN, Italy. End: 18:30 What happens when live drawing meets the rhythm of production and technological innovation? The answer is at the centre of the 14th edition of CuneoVualà, the exhibition festival that turns the carnet de voyage practice into a contemporary investigative tool. Entitled "The Factory in Your Pocket: the travel notebook in the world of work", the event will take place at the Peano Foundation in Cuneo from October 4 to November 15, 2026 (opening on Sunday October 4 at 17). The event is part of the framework of the International Network of Michelin Cities 2026 and celebrates a fundamental symbolic milestone: the 120th anniversary of the Michelin plant in Cuneo. Curated by art historian Ivana Mulatero and created in collaboration with the French association Il Faut Aller Voir of Clermont Ferrand and the Alliance Française of Cuneo, this year's festival shifts its gaze from natural landscapes and historic villages to industrial architecture, the worker's gesture and robotic lines. The artists become thus "eyewitnesses" of everyday life in the factory, capturing on t

Silvia Levenson … e vissero tutti felici e contenti, Palazzo Salmatoris dal 3 ottobre 2026 al 10 gennaio 2027
Place: Palazzo Salmatoris. End: 18:30 From 3 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, the prestigious rooms of Palazzo Salmatoris in Cherasco host the solo exhibition by Silvia Levenson, titled “… e vissero tutti felici e contenti”, curated by Cinzia Tesio and Marco Albeltaro. The exhibition itinerary delves into the stylistic signature of an artist of international standing, whose visual investigation explores without hesitation various "territories of conflict": the bodily dimension, geographic and social boundaries, domestic space and the mechanisms of power. Spheres that dominant culture portrays as safe havens and spaces of identity are reinterpreted by the artist as possible contexts of oppression, marginalization or brutality. To represent such dichotomies, Silvia Levenson chooses glass as her primary material, a substance that is intrinsically twofold. A constant presence in everyday life — used to preserve food or screen our homes —, it conceals within itself a potential danger: its sudden shattering can cause wounds and permanent marks. This dual nature makes it the perfect tool to evoke the precariousness and inscrutability of relazi
A Palazzo Salmatoris il vetro di Silvia Levenson racconta le fragilità della vita contemporanea
Address: Via Vittorio Emanuele II, 29, 12062 Cherasco CN, Italy. End: 18:30 Glass as an everyday element, but also as a fragile, sharp and unpredictable material. It is around this ambiguity that the journey of Silvia Levenson develops, the protagonist of the new exhibition set up in the rooms of Palazzo Salmatoris in Cherasco. From 3 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, the Argentine artist will be at the centre of the solo exhibition "… e vissero tutti felici e contenti", curated by Cinzia Tesio and Marco Albeltaro. The exhibition accompanies the public inside the research of an artist of recognized international standing, who through her works investigates the contradictions of society and the power relations that run through everyday life. Body, geographic and social boundaries, domestic environment and identity thus become equally many "territories of conflict", in which what is commonly perceived as familiar, reassuring or belonging to the private sphere can turn into a space of exclusion, control and violence. At the centre of Levenson’s research is glass, a material that has always accompanied everyday life and that the artist uses precisely for its na

Roald Dahl & Quentin Blake. Una Splenderrima Collaborazione
Place: Spazio Innov@zione. Address: Spazio Innov@zione, Via Roma 17, 12100 Cuneo, CN The exhibition tells the extraordinary collaboration between Roald Dahl, one of the best-loved authors of children's literature of the twentieth century, and Quentin Blake, the illustrator who transformed his stories into an immediately recognizable visual universe. Roald Dahl won over young readers with his irreverent humor, linguistic inventiveness and ability to look at the world through children's eyes: he created stories and characters that have become part of the imagination of generations of readers, from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" to "Matilda", from "The GGG" to "The Witches", also inspiring highly successful films Quentin Blake, among the most celebrated contemporary British illustrators, has made a decisive contribution to giving that universe a face. His quick, ironic and apparently spontaneous line has become inseparable from Dahl's texts, in a dialogue between word and image that has accompanied some of his best-known books. Through original plates by Quentin Blake, rare first editions, videos, immersive installations, interactive proposals and iconic objects, the public is accompanied

Sulle tracce del lupo
Venue: Museo Valdese. Address: Via Beckwith, 3 Torre Pellice (TO) The figure of the predator has accompanied human imagination for centuries. Through stories, contemporary chronicles, archive documents and traditional legends, local populations have often described themselves and their identity precisely thanks to the relationship woven with animals and the surrounding territory. In this context, the wild figure becomes an emblematic mirror of the fears, hopes and latent contradictions of society, coming to embody in turn the uncontaminated element, the looming danger, the desire for freedom and mystery. Set up inside the ethnographic section of the Museo Valdese, this exhibition route offers an evocative journey into the daily life of Alpine communities between the end of the nineteenth century and the first decades of the twentieth century. The itinerary highlights original artefacts, historical testimonies, texts curated by Davide Rosso and illustrations by Manuela Rosso, capable of conveying the essence of a mountain world inextricably linked to nature. The objects on display become tools for reading to deepen the culture

Teatro Stabile di Torino - Elisir - Stagione 2026/2027
Location: Teatro Carignano - Teatro Stabile Torino - Teatro Nazionale. Address: Piazza Carignano, 6 Elisir is the title of the 26/27 Season of Teatro Stabile di Torino. The new structure of the artistic direction relaunches a strong focus on generational turnover, which is reflected in the programme, both in the choice of authors hosted or produced (Iacozzilli, Fettarappa, Mariani, Zannoni, Aldrovandi, Gadd) and in the presence of the PoEM collective and the company formed by the graduating students of our School, engaged respectively in the Trilogia dei libri and the Trilogia Williams, and finally in the Energie nove series, curated by Diego Pleuteri, which gives space to very young independent authors and performers. Seventy-five titles, eight new productions, six revivals, five co-productions, one city. This is the elixir prepared, in the hope and expectation of being able to share it and consume it collectively in the theatre, one evening at a time. Long live the theatre, once again - and those who inhabit it together with us.
