I Soldi dell’Assedio. La moneta a Torino nel 1706
Place: Historic Archives of the City of Turin. Address: Via Giuseppe Barbaroux, 32 - Turin. Organizer: none The exhibition “I Soldi dell’Assedio. La moneta a Torino nel 1706”, hosted at the Historic Archives of the City of Turin on Via Barbaroux 32, tells the story of the Siege of 1706 through a little-known perspective: the role of coinage in the life of the city and in its ability to resist during the months of the French blockade. On the 320th anniversary of the end of the Siege, the exhibition brings together coins, medals, documents, prints and period volumes. Among the materials on display are coins minted by the Turin Mint during the reign of Victor Amadeus II, including pieces produced precisely in the days of the siege, when even the silver made available by the people of Turin helped support the city’s military expenses and supplies. The exhibition thus explores a lesser-known aspect of the history of 1706, placing the economic and social dimension alongside the military one. The exhibition, with free admission, can be visited until 22 November 2026, from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 16.30. Free guided tours are scheduled every Thursday

Place: Public Baths of Via Agliè. Address: Via Agliè, 9 - Turin. Organizer: CAMERA - Italian Center for Photography From 25 September 2026, the Aurora and Barriera di Milano districts tell their story through the images of the people who live there. Foto album da Aurora e Barriera, an exhibition by Franco-Algerian artist Bruno Boudjelal, will take shape on the facades of three Turin locations: the Public Baths of Via Agliè, CAMERA and Dorado. The project was born from encounters with residents and the sharing of their personal archives. Family photographs, childhood memories, black-and-white images and smartphone shots come together in a large open-air installation spread across the city. United by Boudjelal’s creative vision, they form a collective narrative made of faces, memories and fragments of everyday life. For his first intervention in Italy, the photographer – known for his research into themes of identity and borders – creates a work conceived specifically for these places. The city thus becomes a living organism, crossed by relationships, belonging and different stories. Placed side by side, the images provide an authentic portrait of Aurora and Barr

Giovanni Termini, La forma del non detto
Venue: Fondazione Ettore e Ines Fico. Address: Fondazione Ettore e Ines Fico, via Pessinetto 10/g, 10149 Turin, TO Giovanni Termini - Assoro (Enna) 1972, lives and works in Pesaro. His research focuses on redefining sculpture, understood not as an arrangement of static volumes, but as a combination of expanding forms. The media he uses consist of everyday objects drawn from the most varied contexts and made from different materials: wood, steel, glass, scaffolding tubes that interact with one another to assert the primacy of matter and form. He first investigates the space in which his works will be created, absorbs it and experiences it before carrying out the installation. His idea of space - the space in which the artist works and in which the work is born and lives - does not coincide with an abstract and predefined dimension; his is not a Cartesian space, but rather a space assessed by the artist's own perspective as degree zero. Space thus becomes a "worksite" - a key word in Termini's practice, synonymous with an environment in continuous progress, advancement and transformation - which begins as a tool for introspection and becomes

Wandering Europe is the new exhibition promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo at Gallerie d’Italia in Turin, open from 1 October 2026 to 7 February 2027 and curated by Walter Guadagnini. The exhibition is part of the series La Grande Fotografia Italiana, conceived and curated by Roberto Koch, which pays tribute to the great protagonists of contemporary Italian photography. Born from a commission by Intesa Sanpaolo, the project brings together over eighty photographs taken by Luca Campigotto between 2025 and 2026 during a journey across Europe, from the eastern borders between Turkey, Armenia and Georgia to the Atlantic coasts of France and Portugal, from the Svalbard islands to Lampedusa and Etna. Through natural landscapes, cities, archaeological sites, industrial areas and places marked by history, Campigotto builds a portrait of contemporary Europe, highlighting its complexity and continual transformations. The images relate different cultures, memories and identities, creating a dialogue between distant places and bringing out unexpected correspondences between past and present. At the cen
Atelier dei moderni. Matisse, Braque, Picasso, Bacon
Venue: Reggia di Venaria. Address: Reggia di Venaria, Piazza della Repubblica, 4, 10078 Venaria Reale, TO Sixty works tell the story of the twentieth century through its protagonists and the place where everything began: the studio. The exhibition Atelier dei Moderni. Matisse, Braque, Picasso, Bacon offers a fascinating journey through twentieth-century painting, exploring the evolution of European modern art. Through a selection of works by absolute masters such as Matisse, Picasso, Braque, Derain, Dubuffet, Lam, Hartung, Hantaï, Bacon and many others, the exhibition route highlights the profound transformations in the artistic language of the last century: from the search for the purity of forms and colour to the dramatic tensions of Expressionism and postwar figurative art. Atelier dei Moderni is an unmissable opportunity to grasp the aspects of creative freedom and the aesthetic revolution that marked twentieth-century art. Some of the works on display in the exhibition directly evoke the studio, a key space, a hub of creation and experimentation but also an intimate space and a space for dialogue and relationships among artists. The project identifies the youngest as the ideal visitors of the present museum and of the museum of the future. Il Castello Incantato is inspired by the idea of the agora, the main public square in the cities of ancient Greece, promoting the idea of the museum as a place of meeting and exchange, a pedagogical, experiential, inclusive gymnasium and a school of citizenship. For the new 2026 edition, Il Castello Incantato proposes an exhibition path focused on important women and men artists, whose works have contributed in a fundamental way to the history of the collection and exhibitions of Castello di Rivoli. The project presents works by John Baldessari, William Kentridge, Otobong Nkanga and Paola Pivi. Special guests of the 2026 edition are Peter Friedl with No prey, no pay, a large installation inspired by pirates and their forgotten stories, and Rivane Neuenschwander with dream.lab.
