World Press Photo Exhibition 2026

Location: Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti. Address: via Accademia Albertina 6 - Turin. Organizer: CIME The exhibition presents the results of the 69th World Press Photo Contest, the prestigious international competition promoted by the World Press Photo Foundation, a point of reference for world photojournalism since 1955. Every year, the contest celebrates the work of the best international professional photographers and documentary filmmakers, awarding images capable of telling with force and depth the events, challenges and transformations that have characterized the year just passed. In the spaces of the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin, 144 photographs made by 42 awarded authors are on display, selected from 57.376 images submitted by 3.747 photographers from 141 countries. The works were subjected to a structured evaluation process: a first selection entrusted to independent regional juries and, subsequently, examination by a global jury.
