Address: Various venues, Via San Domenico 9-11, Turin, TO The MAO presents the exhibition Dreamscapes / Dreamscapes, dedicated to the famous series The 53 Stations of the Tkaid by Utagawa Hiroshige, one of the absolute masterpieces of nineteenth-century Japanese art, owned by UniCredit. The exhibition route brings together a selection of 36 prints with the aim of restoring to the public the immersive and “cinematic” dimension of that floating world, also widening the gaze to some objects and to the forms of material culture that accompanied and made possible the experience of travel in Japan between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
