Organizer: Museum of Oriental Art (MAO) The exhibition is dedicated to the famous series The 53 Stations of the Tōkaidō by Utagawa Hiroshige, one of the greatest masterpieces of nineteenth-century Japanese art, belonging to the UniCredit collection. The exhibition route presents a selection of 36 prints, offering the public the opportunity to immerse themselves in the evocative and almost cinematic atmosphere of the floating world, also widening the gaze to some objects and to the forms of material culture that accompanied and made possible the experience of travel in Japan between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Admission to the exhibition is included in the ticket for the permanent collections. Full price ticket 10 euro – Reduced 8 euro.
