Organizer: Pinacoteca Agnelli It is an installation made up of fifteen banners arranged along the east facade of the Lingotto, which interact playfully with the architecture of the building, intertwining form, color and landscape. Through a language that combines geometric abstraction, vivid tones and sporadic figurative presences, Nathalie Du Pasquier intervenes in the space of Pista 500, activating it thanks to the very architectural and natural elements that define it. On the one hand, the regular rhythm of the Lingotto structure, on which the banners are placed; on the other, the West wind evoked by the figure of the Greek god Zephyrus, which introduces a poetic and ironic dimension to the work. Aligned and placed at regular distances, the flags, in their imposing presence, recall those displayed at the headquarters of international organizations, symbols of plurality and cooperation. In this context, however, the artist distances herself from the nationalist and power connotations traditionally associated with such emblems, transforming art into a tool of openness and dialogue.
