Wandering Europe is the new exhibition promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo at Gallerie d’Italia in Turin, open from 1 October 2026 to 7 February 2027 and curated by Walter Guadagnini. The exhibition is part of the series La Grande Fotografia Italiana, conceived and curated by Roberto Koch, which pays tribute to the great protagonists of contemporary Italian photography. Born from a commission by Intesa Sanpaolo, the project brings together over eighty photographs taken by Luca Campigotto between 2025 and 2026 during a journey across Europe, from the eastern borders between Turkey, Armenia and Georgia to the Atlantic coasts of France and Portugal, from the Svalbard islands to Lampedusa and Etna. Through natural landscapes, cities, archaeological sites, industrial areas and places marked by history, Campigotto builds a portrait of contemporary Europe, highlighting its complexity and continual transformations.
