Fiera Regionale "Il Ciapinabò" a Carignano

Organizer: Pro Loco Carignano Aps The Ciapinabò Festival in Carignano, in the province of Turin, in the Piedmont region, traditionally takes place in the second week of the month of October. The 33ª edition is scheduled from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026, in the historic centre of Carignano among piazza Carlo Alberto, piazza Liberazione, piazza San Giovanni, piazza Savoia and the adjacent streets. The traditional event dedicated to ciapinabò (the term used in the local dialect to mean Jerusalem artichoke), with which Carignano welcomes autumn, is about to return. The thirty-third edition of the Regional Fair Il Ciapinabò of Carignano is announced with a varied programme that includes tastings, exhibitions, musical moments, radio broadcasts, food and wine stands, show of Frisian breed cattle, transhumance, hobbyists. And if the undisputed protagonist will be the tasty tuber, an essential presence on Piedmontese tables especially when paired with bagna cauda, all the local and typical fruits of the earth of this season will have a place in the spotlight.
