Organizer: Comune Moncalvo The National Truffle Fair of Moncalvo boasts historic traditions dating back to the fifteenth century when the Moncalvo truffle was the "official Ambassador" of the Monferrato lands at all European courts. Since 1954 it has become an important appointment for the City of Moncalvo, a vehicle for promoting the food and wine heritage and the traditions of the area. Every year it is held again during the last two Sundays of October in Piazza Carlo Alberto and Piazza Garibaldi, where stalls rich in food and wine products and stands of artists and hobbyists display products created through their ingenuity. Monferrato gathers in Moncalvo for the 72nd National Truffle Fair, scheduled for Sunday 18, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026 in the historic centre. Three days of fair: the two Sundays are joined by the Saturday preceding the last one, with truffle stalls, typical products and food and wine operators.
