CANTARA' E CATANAJ

Address: via Emilia - 15057 Tortona Cantarà e Catanaj is the traditional market of Tortona dedicated to objects from times gone by, among curiosities, memories and small treasures from the past. Along Via Emilia, three times a year, a much-loved event comes to life that celebrates the charm of lived-in things: not luxury antiques, but simple objects rich in history, ready to find a new home. The Cantarà was the sideboard, that kitchen piece of furniture where bread, flour and everything that had no precise place were kept; Catanaj instead indicates that collection of old objects, often in metal, apparently of little value but rich in history.
