Canelli in teatro - L'IMMAGINE IMPREVISTA

End: 20:00 “L’Immagine Imprevista”, a site specific performance conceived by Elena Rolla for the works of “Piero Simondo”, a leading exponent of “Situationism”. Site specific is an artistic expression made up of choreographic material created by studying Rudolf Laban’s movement theories, also known as “choreology”; where, thanks to analysis, compositional results are obtained through the reinterpretation of the rhythms of everyday gesture, on the one hand, and dance and movement in their intrinsic value, as for abstract art the sign, the color and the material, on the other. The dancers are the protagonists of this performance specially designed for the works of “Piero Simondo” and for the spaces in which it is set. As the audience walks while admiring the works, it sees duos, trios and solos dancing around it, simultaneously. All without music. Dance, in the site specific, leads the audience to admire the works, without overshadowing them and without setting itself against them.
