Canelli in teatro - NON È LA STORIA DI UN EROE

End: 20:00 Io ero il Milanese is the story of a man who in life made many wrong choices, a man on whom misfortune was relentless, a man who hit rock bottom, but rose again from that bottom. It is the story of how hope must never fail, trust and above all how one must always offer another chance. The story of Lorenzo S. is a cross-media creative project. It began as a podcast, titled Io ero il Milanese, produced by RaiPlay Sound, which became a true case in 2022. Starting out quietly, thanks to word of mouth, the podcast won over the public, nearing 3 million listens. In the 2023 edition of Il Pod (Italian Podcast Award) Io ero il Milanese received first prize in the “Documentary” category. In 2023 it became a book published by Mondadori and also a theatre show, which premiered in Bari, on the occasion of the Prix Italia on 4 October 2022. Now the story of Lorenzo S. can be experienced live. The theatrical space is, by antonomasia, the space of revolution, and therefore suited to giving voice to Lorenzo’s personal revolution and to his difficult, harsh, but also hope-filled story.
