Open to the public from 11 September 2026 to 6 January 2027 The exhibition “Egypt. In the Footsteps of the Gods” was inaugurated on Tuesday 8 September 2026, in the evocative setting of Palazzo Mathis in Bra, the flagship cultural event of the autumn season promoted by the Municipality of Bra in collaboration with the Egyptian Museum. At the inauguration ceremony, the Mayor of Bra Gianni Fogliato, the Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture Biagio Conterno, the head of the Research and Curatorial office of the Egyptian Museum Federico Zaina and Alessandro Girardi, curator of the Research and Curatorial Department – Travelling Exhibitions of the Egyptian Museum and curator of the Bra exhibition, took part. The exhibition offers visitors a fascinating journey through amulets, votive stelae and artefacts from the storerooms of the Egyptian Museum – many of them on display to the public for the first time – to explore the Egyptian pantheon, the meaning of material culture in daily life and the role of the sovereign as intermediary between humans and deities.
