Architetture preziose. Monumenti da indossare

On Thursday 24 September at 15.30, at the Valenza Goldsmith Art Exhibition Centre, the exhibition “Precious Architectures. Monuments to Wear” will open to the public, an exhibition featuring a selection of jewellery created by students from the IIS “Benvenuto Cellini” and For.AL “Vincenzo Melchiorre” schools, which reinterpret famous monuments and celebrated works of art in an innovative way. The exhibition will then be officially inaugurated on Friday 25 September at 18.00 in the presence of the Administration. In a play of art within art, the students of the Valenza schools have re-proposed in their creations the idea of architecture-à-porter, a concept that combines architecture, fashion and goldsmith design. At the basis of the design activity is the search for an innovative language and a modern translation of the structural geometries and aesthetic references of the inspirational monuments.
