End: 12:00 Guided tours of the Library of Castello di Rivoli The guided tour, which usually takes place on the third Thursday of the month, in October will exceptionally be on Friday 16 October, at 10,30. The Library of Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art, with a collection of about 50.000 volumes, is among the most fully stocked contemporary art libraries in Italy. Specialised in twentieth- and twenty-first-century art, the Library is housed in the Manica Lunga of the Castle. Its collections include exhibition catalogues, artists' books and historical journals. The guided-tour route leads visitors to discover the library's heritage, its rare books and the many stories hidden behind art publications. The visits are free and booking is not required.
