End: 18:00 The MUbatt – Museo della Battaglia di Ceresole d’Alba opens free of charge to the public every last Sunday of the month with guided tours to rediscover the history of the Battle of 1544. The museum reconstructs the clash in which the armies of Francesco I and Carlo V faced each other with almost 30.000 soldiers for supremacy over Italian territory. The exhibition route leads among artefacts and historical testimonies preserved through the centuries, inviting visitors to relive the stages of the battle and understand its role in the great wars of Italy. The narrative also highlights the historical link between Ceresole d'Alba and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, united by the common memory of conflicts and by finds such as fortified walls and cannons that hark back to the shared past.
