Sogno Andaluso – Omaggio a Federico García Lorca

Venue: Piccolo Coccia. Organizer: Fondazione Teatro Coccia 11.30 a.m. ninety years after the tragic death, the universe of Federico García Lorca comes back to life in a total show that weaves together theatre and music. On an unpublished script built around the biography and poems of the great author, the songs he himself composed are transformed by original jazz arrangements. An intense journey into Andalusia of vivid colours, surprising metaphors and freedom; a necessary tribute to one of the brightest voices of the twentieth century, capable of turning life into poetry and poetry into music. The concert will be introduced by a History of Jazz curated by Gianni Lucini.
