End: 18:30 From 3 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, the prestigious rooms of Palazzo Salmatoris in Cherasco host the solo exhibition by Silvia Levenson, titled “… e vissero tutti felici e contenti”, curated by Cinzia Tesio and Marco Albeltaro. The exhibition itinerary delves into the stylistic signature of an artist of international standing, whose visual investigation explores without hesitation various "territories of conflict": the bodily dimension, geographic and social boundaries, domestic space and the mechanisms of power. Spheres that dominant culture portrays as safe havens and spaces of identity are reinterpreted by the artist as possible contexts of oppression, marginalization or brutality. To represent such dichotomies, Silvia Levenson chooses glass as her primary material, a substance that is intrinsically twofold. A constant presence in everyday life — used to preserve food or screen our homes —, it conceals within itself a potential danger: its sudden shattering can cause wounds and permanent marks.
