Address: Piazza Pertinace, Alba Starting on Saturday 21 March 2026, the Alba Market of the Earth, in Piazza Pertinace, becomes a place of encounter between art, community and sustainability thanks to “Scarti d’autore”, the project conceived by UnTerritorio ETS with the aim of promoting a new shared awareness of the value of food by placing food at the center as a common good: not only nourishment, but a social and cultural experience, a right for all and a tool of relationship between people and territories. The initiative actively involves the producers of the Market of the Earth and the local community in a calendar of events from March to November 2026: art workshops, participatory performances, moments of storytelling and in-depth discussion between art and science, alongside concrete awareness-raising tools such as anti-waste kits and a guide for waste management. All meetings will take place in the morning, beginning at 10.00 a.m., and will include artistic and performative activities together with interviews with the market producers held directly in Piazza Pertinace, surrounded by the Market of the Earth.
