Wine Experience - Barolo

Address: Piazza Falletti, 1 - Barolo The “Wine Experience” returns on Saturday 10 October at 16 at the WiMu in Barolo, a sensory lesson to get to know wine through aromas, soils and stories. A journey following the traces of the “ingredients of wine” to observe closely the vineyard soils, discover through a modern raised map what the boundaries of cru and production areas are, and also smell the scents and aromas that make the wines of this territory great. The duration of the educational activity is about one hour. Using some samples of earth from these hills, taken from different cru in the Barolo area, their most characteristic aspects and particularities will be explored, including the geological and morphological differences that make the Langhe and Roero area so special for wine production. And, through the different bouquets, one will learn more about reading aromas, about olfactory sensations and about the soul of the great wines of the area.
