Place: Teatro Regio Torino. Organizer: Teatro Regio Torino | 17 May 2027 Roots Felix Mildenberger Born in the fascinating Central European cultural crucible of the second nineteenth century, the creations of Brahms and Dvořák have a similar language but express very different temperaments. Felix Mildenberger, principal guest conductor of the Filarmonica TRT since 2021, places their works in dialogue, for a return to the roots of romantic symphonism, where the noblest lyricism meets the energy of the earth. On one side, Brahms’s Violin Concerto and Orchestra, entrusted to the brilliant violinist Anna Tifu, with its admirable balance between virtuosity and poetry; on the other, Dvořák’s Symphony no. 8, traversed by Bohemian folk melodies and irrepressible good cheer.
