"Ornamenta": la nuova mostra sui tesori ossolani tra '800 e '900

Venue: Domodossola and Santa Maria Maggiore “Ornamenta. Treasures of elegance and identity in Ossola” is the new exhibition promoted and organised by the Municipality of Domodossola, which from 19 July to 25 October tells a glimpse of Ossolan taste at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, proposing an exhibition route that unfolds across three venues: it begins in Domodossola with the civic museums "Gian Giacomo Galletti" at Palazzo San Francesco and Casa De Rodis and reaches Santa Maria Maggiore at the Old Town Hall cultural centre. The exhibition is curated by Federico Troletti and is produced in partnership with the Angela Paola Ruminelli Foundation and with the collaboration of the Municipality of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Poscio Collection and the Pro Loco of Domodossola. The scholarly project was coordinated by the curator and conservator of the civic museums of Domodossola with the fundamental support of other researchers and cultural institutions that over the last decade have carried out study, enhancement and promotion activities relating in various capacities to Ossolan culture.
