Libri in Nizza: Francesco sulla strada

End: 22:59 In the eighth centenary of the Passing of Saint Francis and almost ten years after the death of the Asti-born director and playwright Luciano Nattino, Teatro degli Acerbi presents the reworking of Francesco sulla strada – Cantico Blues tra Assisi e il mondo. On stage we do not find the saint of devotional images, but a restless and radical man who chooses to put himself, power and money into question. The show brings back to the center the extraordinary relevance of Franciscan thought: a figure capable of questioning our time, choosing fraternity in a world of conflicts, sharing in a society of accumulation and relationship with creation in an era of environmental crisis. A theatre of the essential in which the actor’s word and presence become the true space of encounter. Appointment in collaboration with the Ordine Francescano Secolare di Asti which will introduce the evening. With Andrea Caldi, Elena Romano and Jacopo Siccardi Direction: Elena Romano Dramaturgical adaptation: Andrea Caldi and Elena Romano Artistic concept: Bottega di Cyrano Production: Teatro degli Acerbi Co-production: Festival Paesaggi e Oltre and Accademia dello Spettacolo di
