End: 22:00 The third and final meeting of the Aspettando Libri in Nizza series brings together professor Francesco Bellè, author of the philosophical essay L’essere e il mondo (Arca Edizioni), with geologist Paolo Ferrillo, author of the coming-of-age novel Joppolo ‘76 (Edizioni Clandestine), the result of years of conferences and lectures, Francesco Bellè’s volume seeks to answer a question that has always run through human thought: what relationship binds man, the world and Being? Moving between ancient philosophy, theology, historical-cultural dynamics and a parallel speculation between pedagogy and politics, the work invites us to rediscover in the philosophical and theological tradition a living legacy of questions and guidance for understanding the spiritual nature of reality and human experience. Paolo Ferrillo’s novel, set in a campsite on the Tyrrhenian Sea in 1976, instead tells of the summer of ten Neapolitan boys in Calabrian lands, in that magical time when everything is possible, a moment just before the future arrives.
