Le forme-pensiero: arte e Teosofia

Place: Broletto - Sala dell'Accademia. Organizer: Gruppo di Lavoro su "Arte e Teosofia The exhibition is based on and is inspired by the text "Le Forme-pensiero" ("Thought-forms") by Annie Besant and Charles W. Leadbeater, a work that profoundly influenced part of painting of the '900 and artists such as Vasily Kandinsky, Hilma af Klint and Piet Mondrian. The artists, who will exhibit with different techniques, are Bernardino del Boca (1919-2001), a contemporary and multifaceted artist. Opening Thursday 8 October, at 17.30, with presentation of the catalogue by Marina Tappa, who wrote the introduction; this will be followed by a guided tour by Flavia Polignano, theosophist and art critic. Hours: from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10.00 to 19.00. Free admission.
