L’INTRUSO. Pesce Khete

Organizer: GAM - Gallery of Modern Art curated by Elena Volpato, Pesce Khete appears as an Intruder in the rooms of the exhibition "Un altro Novecento. Works on paper from the GAM collections" relating his work to that of some leading figures Alberto Savinio, Luigi Spazzapan and Lucio Fontana. Pesce Khete, among the Italian artists of his generation, prefers paper, where he experiments with adhesive tape "stitches" and uses white as a silence to respect or break. His painting alternates pauses and second thoughts with quick and decisive gestures. On his papers different techniques meet, from pencil to oil, in a dialogue that reflects the double soul of his research: the vitality of figuration and the pure force of color, lines and brushstrokes Opening hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 18.
