An undisputed specialist of the Belle époque repertoire, whose infinite refractions she knows how to enhance, Ariane Matiakh makes her debut on the podium of the Regio. Together with the Filarmonica TRT she brings back to light the soft atmospheres, the foggy and static landscapes of Au loin by Koechlin, the vivid colors of the neoclassical ballet Bacchus et Ariane by Roussel, the poetic enchantment of Pelléas et Mélisande by Fauré, inspired by a symbolist drama with a dreamlike setting. Finally the crepuscular vertigo of Ravel’s Valse, a nostalgic tribute to a carefree world, gone after the First World War.
