Il medico dei pazzi

Location: Palazzo Carignano - Appartamenti dei Principi. Address: Piazza Carignano, 6 Gianfelice Imparato is Don Felice Sciosciammocca, the character made famous by Totò. Naive and provincial, he arrives in Naples to visit his nephew Ciccillo. The young man, supposedly a graduate in psychiatry, has been financed by his uncle so that he can open a madhouse, but in reality he has spent all the money paying gambling debts. To trick Felice once again, he therefore devises a plan: to pass off the tenants of Pensione Stella as psychiatric patients. The deception generates comic and paradoxical situations typical of the Neapolitan tradition. Also on stage on Thu 31 Dec 2026 at 19.30 and Fri 1 Jan 2027 at 20.45
