Venue: Museo Nazionale della Montagna. Address: Piazzale Monte dei Cappuccini 7. End: 18:00 The Museo Nazionale della Montagna “Duca degli Abruzzi” presents the exhibition GRADO ZERO. The mountain beyond genres, an exhibition project curated by Andrea Lerda and Linda Cottino, with the prestigious collaboration of anthropologist Michela Fusaschi. The exhibition unfolds through a fruitful dialogue between contemporary works of art and precious historical materials from authoritative institutions in the cross-border Alpine area. The research path starts from the deep need to decenter the hegemonic masculinity that has historically characterized and shaped the universe of the highlands, with the aim of repositioning the female figure within a narrative from which it has been unfairly excluded. The exhibition thus aims to outline the imagery of a realizable utopia: a mountain beyond genres. Among the protagonists stand out the works of internationally renowned artists including Maria Lai, Marwa Arsanios, Cleo Fariselli, Kate Gilmore, Silvia Margaria, Caterina Morigi and Flaminia Veronesi. Within the framework of the path, the installation Al Bruc is also presented
