Giorgio Lupano. Dipingere con la luce

Place: Museo del Tesoro del Duomo. Address: Museo del Tesoro del Duomo, Piazza Alessandro D'Angennes 5, 13100 Vercelli, VC After the summer break, the Museo del Tesoro del Duomo of Vercelli reopens its doors with a special event: an exhibition by artist Giorgio Lupano that brings contemporary photography and historical heritage into dialogue, accompanying visitors on a journey made of light, emotions and suggestions. The fourteen works on display are the result of in-depth research into the relationship between light, matter and perception. Through an extraordinary lighting technique, Giorgio Lupano transforms each photograph into a story capable of evoking emotions and offering new points of view. In the context of the Museo del Tesoro del Duomo, his images dialogue with works of art that for centuries have used light as a symbol of knowledge, beauty and spirituality, creating a fascinating encounter between tradition and contemporaneity. The opening of the exhibition is on Friday 4 September 2026, at 17.30. The exhibition is enriched by guided tours, educational activities and workshops dedicated to photography. The exhibition is organised on the occasion of Risò, international festival
