Festa della Bagna Caöda

Location: Faule. Organizer: Pro Loco Faule The Bagna Caöda Festival of Faule is one of the most significant events in the Piedmontese food and wine tradition. In this small village in the province of Cuneo, the community celebrates every year the dish that more than any other embodies the convivial spirit of the area: Bagna Caöda, an ancient recipe rooted in local culture. This year the event reaches its 30ª edition, a result that confirms how alive and loved this tradition remains. The Piedmont Region has also recognized Bagna Caöda of Faule as a Traditional Agri-food Product, rewarding its cultural and gastronomic value. In addition to offering tastings of the famous dish, the festival traditionally opens with an inauguration ceremony rich in guests, cultural associations, artists and local authorities. During the inauguration, the organization awards the prestigious Fujot d’Oro, a recognition linked to the enhancement of Bagna Caöda, together with the De.Co. dedicated to Faule’s typical products.
