The text is based on the successful Argentine film of the same name written and directed by Santiago Carlos Oves, winner of numerous international awards, later transformed into a stage drama by Jordi Gàlceran, an author capable of combining emotional depth, narrative construction and irony. At the centre of the story is the confrontation between an elderly mother and her fifty-year-old son, suddenly forced to redefine his family role amid economic responsibility, guilt, emotional vulnerability and practical needs.
