End: 20:00 Corso Torino 18 Professional Workshop dedicates the resumption of activities after the summer break to a reflection on the modern era, through the sculptural and plastic investigation of the artist from Alba Cristiana Cravanzola. In today’s society, the dimension of the “threshold” is often lost, understood as a dynamic space of passage and transformation between past, present and future. Modernity itself thus becomes a visual perception of a terrain in constant mutation, marked by the acceleration of change. Cristiana Cravanzola’s work therefore fits into an operation of formal synthesis: her sculptures are reinterpretations of real forms, reworked with essential traits. In the sculptural and chromatic rendering, both in the panels and in the three-dimensional pieces, a fantastic garden populated by animals and forms that seem to come alive takes shape. No tension, but dynamism and elegance: bright colors return expressive gazes through real and essential lines, the result precisely of a keen observation of everyday life that does not lose m
