End: 18:00 The last exhibition of the year scheduled in the Church of San Gregorio di Cherasco consists of the works by Alessandro Anastasio “I colori dell’autunno. Acquerelli”. Alessandro Anastasio's pictorial work draws nourishment from the local hilly landscapes, dotted with fortresses and rows of vines, extending to sea landscapes to capture the magic of a twilight or the shades of late autumn. To fully convey these sensations, the painter prefers the use of watercolor: an expressive language without equal in capturing the changing play of light and in infusing freshness and chromatic clarity into every glimpse. Alessandro Anastasio was born in Bra where he currently lives. For many years he has practiced the difficult technique of watercolor, receiving various awards. He was a member of the Associazione Italiana Acquerellisti based in Milan and has taken part in numerous group exhibitions at Lago Maggiore, Fabriano, Milan, Castello Visconteo di Abbiategrasso, Palazzo Ducale di Alessandria.
