A Montiglio Monferrato nel segno del tartufo e delle camminate

Address: 14026 Montiglio Monferrato, AT Montiglio Monferrato (At): On Sunday 4 and Sunday 11 October the Asti village will host the National Truffle Fair, two days on which the white truffle will be the star of a programme that will bring together food and wine, local area and events for the public. In the town centre there will be the market exhibition and several appointments dedicated to the world of the truffle, with opportunities also designed to deepen knowledge of mycelium and truffle cultivation. The Fair will also be the starting point for discovering Montiglio by walking. On the days of 4 and 11 October the Montiglio Monferrato Walking Tours are in fact scheduled, guided itineraries that will take visitors through the streets of the village and to the places that tell its history. The route will make it possible to observe closely some of the most significant corners of the village, from the Castle to the Chapel of Sant'Andrea, known for its cycle of medieval frescoes, up to the sundial on the bell tower and the parish church of Santa Maria della Pace.
