After having catalogued hundreds of photos of family coats of arms in churches (including the Cathedral of Mondovì), cemeteries, streets and houses, also thanks to the active contribution of numerous residents of Mondovì who over these years have reported coats of arms scattered throughout the area, especially in private houses, on the occasion of the 58th edition of the Mondovì Craft Fair a new exhibition of family coats of arms from the Monregalese area is presented within the initiative "Araldica monregalese. La mostra". Free admission. Exhibition: Araldica monregalese Venue: Centro studi monregalesi, VIcolo Monte di Pietà. 1 Mondovì Piazza Period: 13 August - 8 November 2026 Visiting hours:

Rivelazioni e confronti tra i nostri tesori
Venue: Various locations. Address: Various locations, Via Accademia Albertina, 8, 10123 Turin, TO A precious seventeenth-century painting by Sassoferrato will be the guest of honour of this display, in comparison with another significant canvas by the same artist, owned by the Albertina. A new opportunity to enhance the great historical-artistic heritage of the Academy of Fine Arts, which reveals to the public, at the same time, the outcome of new significant restorations, exhibiting paintings and drawings that are usually inaccessible. Among these is a rare canvas by Gandini del Grano, a great interpreter of painting in Parma in the early sixteenth century, and also the precious seventeenth-century drawings by Nicolas Lagneau, a gift from King Carlo Alberto to his Academy, and an interesting discovery on twentieth-century painting featuring Enrico Thovez. Through Revelations and Comparisons, paintings rarely visible resurface to dialogue with one another, creating paths of comparison between artists, eras and different sensibilities. Each exhibition thus becomes a unique opportunity to encounter works that, because of their fragility, rarity or location, can hardly be admired by the public.

Forte di Gavi - Calendario aperture 2026
Address: Forte di Gavi - 15066 Gavi The town of Gavi, known for its white wine, has very ancient origins: it already existed in the neolithic period and in Roman times Gavium was an important village because it stood on the road "link" between the via Postumia and Emilia. Even at that time there is mention of a castle placed on the summit of the rock that dominates the locality and that allows control of the ancient road that connected Genoa to Monferrato and Lombardy. With the fall of the empire, Gavi passed under various dominions and then became a Genoese possession. Certain historical information about the castle dates from the twelfth century, first passing into the hands of Barbarossa, then of his son Henry who gave it to the Genoese, the fortress was the scene of clashes between Tortona, Genoa and Alessandria. The true character of a fortress was achieved thanks to the intervention of the military engineer Vincenzo Maculano known as il Fiurenzuolo, who in 1625 was commissioned by the Republic of Genoa to study the project aimed at increasing the security and military power of the ancient castle. The current configuration is that of a star polygon, characterized by six bastions that extend at acute angles joined t

CASA BARABINO
Address: via Angelo Barabino 10 - 15057 Tortona The figure of Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo and his artistic path play a central role within the Pinacoteca il Divisionismo – Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Tortona and are closely intertwined with those of another “person from Tortona”, Angelo Barabino, both united by an inseparable bond with the area in which their art matured. The relationship of friendship and esteem with Paolo Barabino, the master Angelo’s nephew, encouraged the Foundation to request the availability, through the form of a long-term loan, of the house with the adjoining studio where the painter lived from around 1915 until a few weeks before his death, which occurred in Milan in November 1950. The Foundation’s aim was to recreate the painter’s and his family’s original living spaces, just as the Barabino family shaped them over time and now, in a gesture of great generosity, has decided to make available for public enjoyment. The “Casa Barabino” project highlights the Foundation’s commitment to giving new life to an everyday living environment through a careful restoration intervention and

Una vita migliore. Frammenti di storie dell' l'Istituto per l'infanzia della Provincia di Torino
Venue: Flashback Habitat. Address: Corso Giovanni Lanza 75 A choral work curated by Alessandro Bulgini that tells the stories of the natives of the IPI . Flashback Habitat, a centre for contemporary cultures, is conceived as a womb, an all-encompassing organism in which everything converges: the origin, the red thread that unites past and present, the home to return to. What changes and transforms today is the attitude with which we welcome the gift of this space, the stories of the people who have passed through it, the very life of the place: the new version of the work takes shape as an auspicious gesture. The permanent display sees the birth of two new projects, conceived as further contributions, as new stratifications: Asterisms. In the central rooms three new walls appear, hosting three works on the theme of motherhood, where ancient, modern and contemporary coexist on the same temporal horizon: from the shots by Fabio Bucciarelli (2018) depicting the mothers of Gaza and Lebanon, to the wooden Madonna from the middle of the fifteenth century (1445 ca.) by Giacomo Moranzon, up to the bronze Mater Dulcissima by Giuseppe Gallo (2004) New Perspectives.
