The event, built on a local tradition linked to the enhancement of the grape variety that has its roots in over 40 years of history, presents itself this year under the slogan “The red that unites”. A union that goes beyond the borders of Piedmont: the great halls of the castle will in fact host more than 150 wineries and an impressive selection of over 400 wines for tasting. Alongside the excellences of Piedmont (including Asti, Alba, Nizza and the Monferrato) there will also be products from other Italian regions and prestigious international labels from the United States, Argentina and Australia.

Place: Nizza Monferrato The San Carlo Fair of Nizza Monferrato is an autumn event dedicated to the authentic gastronomic traditions of Piedmont. This event celebrates two excellences of local cuisine: cardo gobbo, a crunchy and precious vegetable that characterises the Monferrato vegetable garden, and bagna cauda, the famous hot sauce based on anchovies and garlic that represents the convivial soul of the Piedmontese table.
