Torino Design City – Transizioni tangibili

Organizer: City of Turin Design as a driver of cultural, social, environmental and technological innovation through exhibitions, meetings, workshops A new biennial appointment dedicated to design is being launched in Turin, with exhibitions, meetings and workshops as part of the activities of Torino UNESCO Creative City of Design. The initiative, coordinated by the Polytechnic University of Turin, is by the City of Turin and involves the main institutions of Piedmont (Region of Piedmont, Polytechnic University of Turin, Turin Chamber of Commerce, Turin Industrial Union, Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, CRT Foundation, API Turin – Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of Turin and Province and CNA Turin). This first pilot edition, scheduled from 8 to 31 October 2026 at MacA-Museo A come Ambiente and in other places in the city, is dedicated to Tangible Transitions, with particular attention to the ecological-environmental dimension. The aim is to show how design, applied at different scales and in different sectors, can transform complex scenarios into concrete, accessible and shared solutions.
