Dipasquale’s adaptation enhances the irony and visionary power of the text, transforming Woolf’s fantastic biography into a reflection on identity and individual freedom. The protagonist’s metamorphosis is the starting point for questioning social conventions, the relationship with time, love and the right to be oneself, in a visionary performance that combines Elizabethan suggestions and contemporary sensibility.
