Phil, Larry and Bob are each at a different stage of life, "with their own inner dramas and external conflicts linked to the need for affirmation and the conquest of a social identity," in the director’s words. This encounter, confined within the space of a hotel room, proves capable of profoundly affecting their destinies. Through a tight dialogue, the work explores the themes of identity, morality and individual choices, returning a vivid and contemporary human cross-section, crossed by the contradictions of the present.
