Capitol'ho pairs classic pieces from their repertoire with more recent material, in a continuous back-and-forth between yesterday and tomorrow that becomes a mirror of our habits, our fears and everyone's small, everyday embarrassments. The audience does not just watch: it participates, breathes, reacts, always remaining at the center of the stage. Ale and Franz do not explain life: they observe it, imitate it, take it apart piece by piece, to give it back to us a little crooked, a little clearer and decidedly funnier. Because theater, as they themselves remind us, is not meant to change the world — but it helps immensely to understand it. ARTISTIC DATA With Ale and Franz Written
