Address: Piazza Vittorio Veneto Museum of sacred art of San Francesco “Paola Benzo Dapino” - 15016 Cassine Sunday 26 July p.v. at 17,30 at the Museum of sacred art of San Francesco “Paola Benzo Dapino”, located in the former convent complex attached to the church of San Francesco, the Municipal Administration of Cassine, thanks to the availability of the Capuchin Friars Minor of Piedmont, in collaboration with the Civic Library “Ettore Amerio”, the “IRSAC Institute for the Historical Reconstruction of Arts and Customs APS” of Cassine and the “Club for UNESCO of Alessandria”, on the occasion of the eighth centenary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, as part of the initiatives aimed at enhancing the Franciscan testimonies present in the town, will present the original manuscript of the “Chorographica descriptio Provinciarum et Conventuum omnium Ordinis Minorum S. Francisci Capucinorum secundum veram illorum distantiam servata quantum fieri potuit Climatum constitutione” a geographical atlas of the Capuchin Provinces made by the Capuchin Friar Giovan Battista da Cassine, an eighteenth-century cartographer, and printed in Milan in 1712.
