The contemporary art theatre season at the Teatro degli Scalpellini in San Maurizio d'Opaglio is organized by Teatro delle Selve ETS, with artistic direction by Franco Acquaviva, and organized in collaboration with Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo as part of the Corto Circuito project. The fourteenth edition of Vado a Teatro! features 9 shows between October and December 2026, in a path that crosses various languages of the contemporary stage, interpreted by national-level groups and performers. The themes are all of great impact and interest: from the opening with cinema to underline the long-standing relationship between this art and theatre, to the tragic story of the Morandi bridge, staged by a very young Genoese actor; from the discomforts of Generation Z to Kafka; from the figure of Elsa Morante to the life of the brilliant and unconventional painter Franceso Romiti; and up to the testimony of a journey on foot from Cuneo to Auschwitz carried out following the traces of the depor
