Sagra della sautissa

In Piedmont, the sautissa is not a simple sausage, but an institution. And Castelnuovo Don Bosco, immersed in Monferrato, dedicates a festival to it that celebrates it in all its flavorful versatility. The Sagra della Sautissa is an opportunity to get together among the scents of the grill, full-bodied wines and a great desire to be together. During the event, sautissa is offered grilled, with polenta, in sauce or in rustic focaccias. The menu is enriched with other dishes of Monferrato cuisine and, naturally, homemade desserts and good local wine, such as Freisa and Barbera. The atmosphere is that of genuine village festivals, with brass bands, entertainment for children, evening shows and the setting of a village that knows how to welcome warmly.
