Sagra del crin

Venue: Lesegno The Sagra del Crin of Lesegno is an event that celebrates an ancient product and symbol of local tradition: the Balüva. This sausage, made from pork, is born from the union of cotechini, guanciale and a rich mix of spices, usually consumed during the festivities linked to wheat threshing, as a symbol of celebration and friendship. Today, the Sagra del Crin brings this flavour back to the table, enriching the event with a varied offering ranging from food to entertainment. The streets of Lesegno, from the square to the castle park, fill with activities dedicated to the celebration of pork, with tastings of typical local dishes: piglet with baked potatoes, the famous Crignoli – ravioli filled with Balüva, a DE.CO-certified product –, and the creative Pulled Roll Special Crin, a delicacy that combines pulled pork, smoked bacon, gorgonzola and barbecue sauce, rolled up in a pizza dough baked in a wood-fired oven. There is no shortage of sweets and other traditional products such as apple fritters, Cupeta – a caramelized dessert of walnuts and hazelnuts enriched with “zotta” -, and the characteristic poor bread Lela, perfect f
