PRODIGI

Place: Teatro Sociale. Address: Piazza Vittorio Veneto, 3. Organizer: OFFICINE DELL’INCANTO PRODIGI is a breathtaking show that takes you back a century, when performers with prodigious abilities enchanted the stages of the whole world, leaving audiences breathless. Vanni De Luca tells and brings back to life the incredible feats of the greatest “prodigies” in history: from the human calculator Giacomo Inaudi to the invulnerable Mirin Dajo, from the chess genius George Koltanowski to the piano prodigy Blind Tom, passing through the calendar man Datas and the woman with ten brains Thea Alba. The climax of the show is the Multiple Wonders, a tribute to the multitasker Harry Kahne, in which Vanni solves a Rubik’s cube, performs complex calculations and recites from memory a canto of the Divine Comedy chosen by the audience… all at once! To further enrich the experience, the voices of Arturo Brachetti and Raul Cremona accompany the spectator on this surprising journey, turning PRODIGI into a unique experience, suspended between memory, wonder and the impossible.
