PaleoLab - Paleontologo per un giorno nelle colline del Monferrato

The initiative will take place in Asti on the following dates: 29 March, 26 April, 24 May, 14 June, 5 July, 30 August, 13 September and 11 October, with activities from 10 to 16. The experience begins at the Territorial Paleontological Museum of the Astigiano area, housed in the historic Palazzo del Michelerio. Here participants will be able to discover how millions of years ago the current hilly territory of Monferrato was occupied by the sea, inhabited by whales, dolphins and numerous marine species, whose fossil remains are now preserved in the museum. After the visit, the day continues in the Nature Reserve of Valle Andona, Valle Botto and Valle Grande, one of the most important fossiliferous areas in Piedmont.
