Mystery Tour – The Beatles in Jazz

Venue: Piccolo Coccia. Organizer: Fondazione Teatro Coccia 11.30 am an evocative reinterpretation born from the desire to explore the Beatles’ repertoire through a personal and refined stylistic approach. On stage, the tried-and-tested interplay between the two musicians blends the melody of the Fab Four with an enveloping sound, created by the hypnotic drones of the cello and by a skilful use of effects on the voice. The arrangements redesign the boundaries of the band’s great pop classics, at times flowing into warm sounds that recall the roots of early Mississippi blues. The concert will be introduced by a History of Jazz curated by Gianni Lucini.
